Appendix C – Leavers data

Between 1 April 2024 and 31 December 2025, 47 employees left employment at FSS. Only permanent staff, staff on a fixed-term appointment and Modern Apprentices are included in the headcounts. Again, due to low numbers, some data has been suppressed for confidentially purposes and is represented with a *.

Due to relatively low numbers of leavers, it is difficult to analyse trends and there is limited information as a lot of the data has been compressed due to confidentiality. However, when reviewing reasons for leaving, the majority of leavers left for promotion or retirement. It is clear there is still a significant number of staff within the “unknown” category. Therefore, FSS will continue to promote self-reporting of EDI data within the Oracle system so we can better understand who is leaving our organisation.
