This Action Note (AN) is to inform all Authorised Officers (AOs) of the European Union’s (EU) recognition of Scotland, England and Wales as having Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) Negligible Risk (NR) status, and to outline the implications for Food Standards Scotland (FSS) Official Controls (OC) and trade activities.
