Codeframe
Below is the codeframe structure that was designed by the research team. It was used in conjunction with the promotion type codes (see Table 1.2) to consistently record and analyse the prevalence and uptake of different promotion types within each order placed and recorded on Indeemo. The codeframe was created in MS excel, with rows for each order and columns to for coding every type of promotion that appeared and whether or not it was taken up, items added/removed from the basket, the final order and any items that were prompted by any promotion. Additional information relating to the participant’s demographic characteristics and other Indeemo survey responses were also included in the spreadsheet. All screen recordings were analysed and coded by the core research team. The full coded data spreadsheet can be accessed along with this report on the FSS website.
