Food Standards Scotland (FSS) is advising consumers not to eat any pre-prepared meals or products from Soupbox Meal Prep based in Alloa.
The warning follows concerns over inadequate food safety controls throughout the company’s production process, meaning all products and meals may pose a risk to health.
Stuart McAdam, FSS Head of Incidents, said:
“If you have purchased products or pre-prepared meals from Soupbox Meal Prep, do not take the risk of consuming them.
“Although the business has now ceased producing hot and cold food, we are urging anyone who may have frozen meals to take immediate action.
“Food Standards Scotland exists to protect consumers, and it is vital that all food businesses comply with the legal standards designed to keep food safe.”
