Overview
This consultation is conducted by Food Standards Scotland (FSS) on behalf of the Minister for Public Health and Women’s Health and seeks stakeholders’ views, comments and feedback in relation to the proposed two year provisional authorisation for the following four Cobalt(II) compounds used as feed additives;
- 3b301: Cobalt(II) acetate tetrahydrate
- 3b302: Cobalt(II) carbonate
- 3b303: Cobalt(II) carbonate hydroxide (2:3) monohydrate
- 3b305: Cobalt(II) sulphate heptahydrate
This is an opportunity for stakeholders to express views on the proposed two year provisional authorisation for Cobalt(II) compounds which Scottish ministers will use to inform their decision making. FSS considers this crucial to the process of transparent policymaking.
