Public Health Nutrition Advisors from Food Standards Scotland (FSS) will present key findings from the recently published report on the out of home environment. This report brings together the latest research examining how settings such as restaurants, cafés, and takeaway outlets influence what people buy and eat across Scotland.
In addition, Professor Lindsay Jaacks from the University of Edinburgh will share insights from the out of home survey. This research explores the contribution of foods consumed outside the home to overall dietary intake, as well as the factors that motivate individuals to eat out of home.
