YSSS Foods is recalling various cheesecakes because of inadequate safety controls and incorrectly labelled product with a ‘best before’ date instead of a ‘use-by’ date.

Risk:

Important safety controls were not demonstrated during the manufacturing process.  In addition, the products have been labelled incorrectly with a ‘best before’ date instead of a ‘use-by’ date.  This means that these products could be unsafe.


Our advice to consumers:

Action taken by the company:  

YSSS Food is recalling the above products. Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling these products and/or on their website. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products. Please see the attached notice.
