Shahnaz Food Products Ltd is recalling its Mr Naga Hot Pepper Pickle because it contains mustard which is not declared on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to mustard.

Consumers warned about unregistered and unapproved ice-cream producer, Zak Ices (or Lucky Gold Leaf) *updated 7 November 2017

Consumers should be aware that an unregistered and unapproved Food Business Operator (FBO), Zak Ices, Belle Vue Street, Batley, West Yorkshire, WF17 7DD has been producing ice cream using an approval code of UK KM058 EEC which previously belonged to a another company and was withdrawn in 2007.

Food Standards Scotland’s new advice on eating runny eggs

People in Scotland who are more vulnerable to the effects of food poisoning such as young children, pregnant women and the elderly are being advised they can now safely eat raw or lightly cooked eggs that are produced under the British Lion Code of Practice.
