Consumers should be aware that Nemos Food Company, Glasgow has recalled its sandwiches, wraps, baguettes, rolls, pasta and pakoras due to lack of validation of shelf life applied to the products. The McIntyre’s products are packed in individual plastic containers. Products should not be consumed and returned to shop or store where purchased.

The steps that businesses are required to take to protect consumers should be through thorough cooking in accordance with current Advisory Committee on the Microbiological Safety of Food (ACMSF) guidance or through a combination of controls verified by a food business operator that will provide equivalent protection.
