Food Standards Scotland has today (Tuesday 24 October) published a summary of food product recalls or withdrawals between July – September 2017.

Final results from the third year of Food Standards Agency’s (FSA’s) survey of campylobacter contamination on fresh chickens at retail have today (18 October 2017) been published.

People in Scotland who are more vulnerable to the effects of food poisoning such as young children, pregnant women and the elderly are being advised they can now safely eat raw or lightly cooked eggs that are produced under the British Lion Code of Practice.
