Pepsico recalls Doritos Lightly Salted Corn Chips because of undeclared soya and wheat (gluten)

Pepsico is recalling some batches of Doritos Lightly Salted Corn Chips because they contain soya and wheat (gluten) which are not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten, and/or an allergy to soya.

Spar is recalling its Egg Mayonnaise Sandwich Filler due to an incorrectly extended ‘use by’ date

SPAR is recalling its Egg Mayonnaise Sandwich Filler 220g as the product has been incorrectly labelled with a ‘use by’ date of 17.01. The product should have been dated 02.01.

Food Standards Scotland issues a product recall information notice (PRIN) for Aldi’s Specially Selected Tikka King Prawns

Food Standards Scotland (FSS) has today (30 December 2016) updated the 29 December 2016 PRIN recalling two batches (6K14 and 6K15) of Aldi’s Specially Selected Tikka King Prawns, as the product contains Salmonella (a bacterium that can cause food poisoning).

Co-op is recalling its Hollow Milk Chocolate Santa because of two reports of alleged product tampering where the product was found to contain small batteries. The presence of small batteries makes this product unsafe to eat and presents a risk to health.
