Summary
This annual report gives the results of UK-wide radiological sampling and analysis carried out in 2018 by the environmental and food safety organisations, including Food Standards Scotland.
It shows that food remains safe and radiation doses to the public from nuclear licensed sites with authorised releases of radioactivity were still well below the UK and EU legal limit in 2018.
