E Coli Classification Protocol

This classification protocol is intended to give direction on the classification of shellfish harvesting areas programme run by Food Standards Scotland under Regulation (EC) 2017/625.

The protocol updates the minimum number of samples which must be collected in order for full classification to be given in any year. The minimum is now 10 samples per year which better reflects practice on the ground and the EU-NRL guidance on the matter.
