Food Crime Risk Profiling Tool

We've created this tool to help food business operators reduce their vulnerability to food crime.

The Scottish Food Crime and Incidents Unit (SFCIU) has developed this Food Crime Risk Profiling Tool to support Food Business Operators (FBO) to understand their risk from food crime and the measures they can take to reduce this risk.

The Food Crime Risk Profiling Tool is intended to be completed by those responsible for setting the strategy and direction. You'll be asked to answer a number of statements to evaluate your business and identify areas for improvement against four key areas:

  1. Strategy
  2. Performance
  3. Organisation
  4. Culture

Once you've completed the assessment, you'll receive a unique and tailored risk profile identifying any potential areas of vulnerability. Providing open and considered answers will make sure that your profile is accurate and relevant to your business. You'll also receive specific guidance to support you in identifying the risk to your business from food crime and the steps you can take to reduce this.

The Food Crime Risk Profiling Tool is open to all food businesses regardless of location.

Sign up using the form below and we'll send you a link to the tool.
