Summary
The Novel Foods (Scotland) Regulations 2017 came into force on 1 January 2018. The new Regulations provide enforcement authorities with the necessary powers to enforce Regulation (EU) 2015/2283 on novel foods which applied from 1 January 2018. This Interested Party letter was sent to stakeholders to notify them.
