Summary
FSS has produced a booklet for teachers which provides an update about the new healthy eating guide - the Eatwell Guide. It sets out how the Eatwell Guide replaces the eatwell plate, its key messaging, suggestions for sharing its principles by using a whole school approach, examples of some classroom activities and links to further information and free classroom materials.
FSS are also developing an Eatwell Guide interactive tool based on the Eatwell Guide and designed for use in the classroom - this will be available on our website later in the year.
