Update on Fipronil in Eggs

Food Standards Scotland has today (21 September 2017) published the updated list of products withdrawn from the market because of the amount of egg they contain from farms implicated in the Fipronil investigation. One additional product has been added to the list of withdrawn products (published 14 September 2017).

Food Standards Scotland continues to work closely with the Food Standards Agency on this ongoing investigation and will provide further updates if necessary.
