Update on Fipronil in Eggs

Food Standards Scotland has today (7 September 2017) published the updated list of products withdrawn from the market because of the amount of egg they contain from farms implicated in the Fipronil investigation. 26 additional products have been added to the list of products withdrawn (published 31 August 2017), but Food Standards Scotland understands these products have not been distributed to Scotland.   

Food Standards Scotland continues to work closely with the Food Standards Agency in relation to this ongoing investigation and will provide further updates if necessary.
