Lidl GB recalls Deluxe Scottish Selection Scottish Beef Olive with Arran Mustard Mash because of undeclared sulphites

Lidl GB is recalling Deluxe Scottish Selection Scottish Beef Olive with Arran Mustard Mash because it contains sulphites which is not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites.

Product: Deluxe Scottish Selection Scottish Beef Olive with Arran Mustard Mash

Pack size: 400g

‘Use By’ date: All Use by dates up to and including the 28th May 2022

No other Lidl GB products are known to be affected

Risk: Sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites

This product contains sulphites making it a possible health risk for anyone with a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites.   

Our advice to consumers:

If you have bought the above product and have a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund. Action taken by the company:

Lidl GB is recalling the above product from customers and been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product.
