Cedar Cottage Country Foods recalls various meat pies because of undeclared celery

Cedar Cottage Country Foods is recalling various meat pies because they contain celery which is not mentioned on the label.  This means these products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to celery.

No other Cedar Cottage Country Foods products are know to be affected

 

Risk: Celery

These products contain celery making them a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to celery.

Our advice to consumers:

If you have bought the above products and have an allergy to celery do not eat them. Instead return them to the store / stall from where they were bought for a full refund.

Action taken by the company:

Cedar Cottage Country Foods are recalling the above products from customers and advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products.
