Baxters Food Group recalls Baxters Sliced Gherkins Crunchy & Sweet because of undeclared mustard

Baxters Food Group is recalling Baxters Sliced Gherkins Crunchy & Sweet because they contain mustard which is not mentioned on the label.  This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to mustard.

No other Baxters Food Group products are known to be affected

This product contains mustard making it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to mustard

Our advice to consumers:

If you have bought the above products and have an allergy to mustard, do not eat it. Instead dispose of the product and contact the customer care team on 0800 389 8389 and CCUK@baxters.com for a replacement.

Action taken by the company:

Baxters Food Group is recalling the above product from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product.
