Q1. In Food Standards Scotland (FSS) we do not have any dedicated document scanners, all scanners are attached to the printers (Multifunction Devices (MFDs)).

Q2. In-house scanning.

Q3. In FSS we hold 4 scanners attached to our Ricoh MFDs in the office and 31 in the field or at colleagues’ homes.

Q4. In FSS we use Ricoh MFDs which include scanning functionality.

Q5. In FSS we use Ricoh MFDs integrated with the Scottish Government (SG) SecurePrint software.

Q6. In FSS these Dives were purchased as part of the SG framework.

Q7. In FSS we use the SG IT framework to procure the goods/services.

Q8. In FSS the Governance and Infrastructure Directorate is managing the contracts. The director is the senior responsible officer and the decision-maker.

Q9. In FSS we use different scanners in Head Office and in Field Offices.

Q10. in FSS we do not own our document scanners independently.
