I am a researcher at the University of Sheffield. We are currently working on an NIHR-funded project concerning no and low alcohol products. An important aspect of this study is identifying the positions of policy actors, including alcohol industry actors. In order to achieve this, we require access to the following consultation data: - Consultation on the national provisions in the Food Labelling Regulations 1996 regarding reserved descriptions for alcohol, cheese and cream (Food Standards Scotland, 2018) The data we require includes: - Complete list of all questions included in the consultation - Complete list of all respondents - Copy of all responses in full. To date, the documentation for this consultation has been partially released, but there appeared to be no public access to all consultation responses in full. Could you please provide us with this data, or advise as to how we may acquire it?
Response
It is important to note that Food Standards Scotland (FSS) has not made any policy decisions following this consultation and the standards in the now revoked Food Labelling Regulations 1996 may be treated as guidance. Attached you can find the following documents:
