Q1. 19 permanent hires joined Food Standards Scotland (FSS) in 2022.

Q2. None of the permanent hires came through external providers in FSS in 2022.

Q3. In FSS recruitment is outsourced to Scottish Government (SG) Resourcing.

Q4. In FSS recruitment is outsourced to SG Resourcing.

Q5. FSS attrition rate is not one of the Human Resources (HR) Metrics, it is provided by SG HR MI team.

Q6. In FSS we don’t have this figure as recruitment is outsourced to SG Resourcing.

Q7. In FSS we spent nothing with external providers of permanent recruitment in 2022.

Q8. In FSS we used a total of 32 unique agency contractors/temps/interims in 2022. Please see below a detailed breakdown:

Assignments for agency temps and interims ranged from a couple of months to a year, depending on whether appointments were coming to an end or at the start of a new one. Requirement for agency contractors is on daily/weekly basis. Provided the approximate full time equivalent number of staff that worked over the year.
