Please provide all internal FSS communications to and from Carrie Ruxton on a) the health risks associated with processed meat b) nitrites/nitrates in processed meat. The request should cover July 1st 2015 onwards.

I enclose a copy of most of the information you have requested in the Annex to this letter. An exemption under section 38(1)(b) of FOISA (personal information) applies to a small amount of the information requested because it is personal data of a third party, ie names and contact details of individuals, and disclosing it would contravene the data protection principles in Chapter II of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 679/2016.
