Quarterly Incident Report - October to December 2017
Food Standards Scotland (FSS) has today (29th January 2018) published a summary of food product recalls or withdrawals between October – December 2017.
Over this three month period, 27 food notices were issued including 19 related to allergies. This publication explains the details of the incident, the level of risk to consumers and what action we, industry and/or local authorities took.
Local authority and key partner contributions have been vital in delivering effective management of these incidents and FSS would like to place on record our thanks for their ongoing support.
