Consultation on the Adulteration of Food

2 documents for this subject

Summary

Food Standards Scotland and the Food Standards Agency have issued a joint consultation on a proposed protocol for how we work with other enforcement agencies and food businesses in response to incidents where food has been adulterated. The formalised approach will provide a framework for setting thresholds for action and reporting when a new adulterant is discovered.

Please send your response to jointconsultation@fss.scot. Responses from across the UK will be collated and analysed.
