Advice to consumers regarding certain ham products

Co-op is recalling Co-op Irresistible Scottish Breaded Ham because it contains wheat (gluten) which is not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten.

Product: Co-op Irresistible Scottish Breaded Ham

 

Pack size: 120g

 

‘Use By’ date: 13th April 2017 (detailed on the product as 13 Apr)

 

No other Co-op products are known to be affected.

 

Food Standards Scotland is working closely with the local authority and Co-op, who have confirmed that they have taken immediate precautionary action.
