The SandwiTch Co (Scotland) recalls its Sandwiches, Wraps, Baguettes, Rolls, and Pasta Salads

The SandwiTch Co has instigated a voluntarily recall as they have been producing and selling products with an extended shelf life in the absence of shelf life validation.

Risk:  Extended shelf life in the absence of shelf life validation which could potentially affect the safety of these products.

Brand Name:  The SandwiTch Co

Products: Various Sandwiches, Wraps, Baguettes, Rolls and Pasta (Fillings include varieties of Tuna, Egg, Chicken and Cheese)

Pack size: Various - To help food safety officers correctly identify this product, a picture of the packaging can be found here.

“Use By Dates”:  Up to and including 21 November 2015

Action taken by the company:

The SandwiTch Co have voluntarily recalled all affected batches, and have notified its customers.

Advice to consumers:

FSS have been advised that distribution affects food businesses operating in Scotland only.  If you have bought any of these products, do not eat them. Instead, return the product to the store from where it was purchased for a full refund.
