Cott Beverages Ltd are recalling their macb Strawberry & Kiwi flavoured still water because of a strong odour, an unpleasant taste and the presence of mould and yeasts, causing spoilage of the product. Consumption of the product may cause people to feel unwell.

Product details:

Product: macb Strawberry & Kiwi still flavoured water

Pack size: 330 ml and 1.5 Litre

Best before: AUG 18

Batch codes: 7131, 7132, 7133, 7135, 7139 and 7149

No other macb products are known to be affected

Risk: Consumption of the product may cause people to feel unwell

Our advice to consumers:

If you have bought any of the above products do not drink them, email customercare@cott.co.uk to gather details for a full refund.

Action taken by the company:  

Cott Beverages Ltd is recalling the above products. Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling these products. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product. Please see the attached notice.

To all our macb consumers, we have previously advised of a quality issue with our macb strawberry & kiwi still water 1.5L and 330ml drinks Best Before End Date August 2018.

The issue creates an unpleasant odour and flavour in the product. Whilst not all bottles are affected, If you suspect any product you have purchased to have the unpleasant odour or flavour please do not consume and e mail customercare@cott.co.uk for a full refund.
