£19.2 million for cross-government surveillance project to protect public health

Update from Food Standards Scotland, The Food Standards Agency, Food and Defra following the rise in cases of feline pancytopenia in the UK
Food Standards Scotland, The Food Standards Agency (FSA), The Royal Veterinary College (RVC), The Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra), the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA), local authorities and the pet food supply chain are all continuing to take the situation extremely seriously and all potential causes of feline pancytopenia are being investigated.
